Welcome to
Trigon Puzzles
Of all the Sudoku type puzzles that have appeared on the Internet, Trigon puzzles are regarded as the Best.
For
many years Trigon puzzles have featured in the (London) Daily
Telegraph, Dell Magazines, Tough Puzzles and many magazines featuring
logic number puzzles.
You do not have to have a knowledge of mathematics –
only a grasp of simple numbers to understand and play Trigon
puzzles. Like all logic number puzzles you are using the universal
language of numbers, which means that they are language friendly
and can be easily understood in any country in the world. Plus,
because they only involve numbers, they are politically acceptable
anywhere that has any sort of censorship of the internet.
Also, like all sudoku type puzzles they are equally appealing
to men and women of all ages and guaranteed to give your brain
a good mental work out
Trigon Puzzles Versus Sudoku
Sudoku and Trigon puzzles are both brilliant logic number puzzles
– both offer a wide range of difficulty levels ranging
from simple to extreme. However there are real differences.
Sudoku and sudoku like puzzles such as Kakuro have a standardised
size format which makes them ideal for newspapers and magazines
because Editors can allocate a fixed amount of space, which
is always at a premium.
Variations and Degrees of Difficulty
With
Trigon puzzles there are a huge variety of sizes and shapes – over 60
at the moment and we are working on creating more. Generally speaking,
the larger the Trigon puzzle the more difficult it is to solve plus
this very variety of shapes means that it is visually much more
exciting than the sudoku like puzzles which all start to look the same.
Because of this variation in size, Trigon puzzles have now come into
their own on the world wide web. The computer and the internet
provide the size flexibility that Trigon puzzles needed to blossom
and grow. Already we have subscribers in 23 different countries
throughout the world and even as you read that statement it
is probably already out of date.
Brain Training
Much
has been made in the last two years of how logic number puzzles can
improve your brain because of the stimulation and mental exercise they
provide. Well we believe Trigon puzzles are the best – they develop
logical deduction and reasoning; analytical judgement; patience and
concentration.
Have you ever seen a Japanese or Chinese Crossword?
No – because the tonal languages of the world do not
lend themselves to Word play. Which is why logic number puzzles
in all their variety are so popular – the language of
numbers crosses all continents. The phenomenon that is Sudoku
and the sudoku like puzzles that followed like Kakuro have developed
and grown the market for and the interest in logic number puzzles.
Now we believe it is the turn of Trigon puzzles.
The
rules can be understood in sixty seconds and you will find Trigon
puzzles fun and very addictive and I would like to leave you with one
final thought:

The brain needs exercise just like the body.
All I need for happiness and contentment are
three things; A large glass of wine, a box of
Belgian chocolate truffles and a book of Trigonpuzzles.

Having done Crossword puzzles all my life and
then having moved on to
number puzzles such as Cross Sums and Kakuro
for many years, I was
delighted to discover Trigon Puzzles.
This the ultimate puzzle for those who like
to combine mathematical
calculations with logic and precision. I await
each months issue eagerly and
spend many enjoyable hours solving these very
clever puzzles.
I stay awake for the first two or three nights
that I have the puzzles in hand as I cannot
put them down.

I was a book-keeper before one did books on computers. I just loved
bookkeeping. To me, it was just like doing puzzles. I never felt like I
was working; only playing games.
I truly love Trigons; they are one of my favourite puzzles. I find them
entertaining and mind stimulating.

After two years of Sudoku, it is quite refreshing to find a
different kind of number logic puzzle to occupy my time. My wife
doesn’t seem too happy about this though. The puzzles presented each
month vary from a novice level to a complex level. After learning the
rules and getting a few under your belt, the more difficult puzzles are
now enjoyable to work on. The Ebook puzzle layout and the colors are
quite attractive. I now look forward to the beginning of each month for
the new Ebook. I would think the world is ready for a Windows version
(with a help/clue system for the next move) of this great number logic
puzzle. Congratulations to Lester and the team at Trigonpuzzles for a
winning concept.

I am a math and logic puzzle lover and trigons are my favourite of
all. I was introduced to trigons in a Dell publication but I was
interested in finding a publication with all trigons. I googled trigons
and found your site.
Not only did you have an entirely trigons publication, but it is
electronic, so I could buy it and download it immediately, rather than
wait 4-6 weeks for a snail mail item. Also if I want to do some puzzles
over again later, all I have to do is print them again. No need to
print solutions or puzzles you dont want to do. Also if you set your
printer to draft quality, you can speed it up and save ink.
I take the puzzles with me when I go to a doctors' office and every
activity where I have to wait my turn. People, seeing these colorfully
outlined shapes, are eager to find out what I am doing. I think I will
make some business cards with the trigons URL. on it, so I can hand
them out to people who seem interested.
